We used to own a push mower. They are fine, but you might get sick of it in the middle of the summer. I would get an electric if you don't cheap out on a push. We had a Black and Decker for a while. It was fine.

kerble wrote:recommend a Lawnmower. Even the cheapest, crappy electric rotary will perform really quite well so long as you keep the blades sharp. For me that was usually every other mow, whip the blade off, vice, angle grinder and good to go in two minutes. The other part of keeping the blades sharp was showing this whole process to my other half after she tried to mow some gravel and sticks.

...a great Kinks compilation, preferably a somewhat recent CD master. I love my Kinks Kronikles 2xLP, but the quality sucks (obvious back-up copy mixes, if not downright rejects) and it would be nice to have it in the car/on the go.Perhaps it doesn't exist.

...single room mic on a kit, and where to put it, for a surf band project. We're going with one mic on each instrument live to 4 tracks (1/2 inch, guitar/bass/farfisa/drums). Drummer's got some tubs and a whole lotta ride action.I know it should be in tech room, but since this thread is so FRESH and this is a current need, why not?(I may cheat with an extra kick mic, but I'd rather not).Gracias!
