LBx wrote:"Is this inherit to the recording or did I get what I payed for?" Yeah. It's the recording. It was made to sound nasty, but in my opinion the nastiness works better on vinyl. ...If your flac files sound like there's something wrong with them, then that's about right.mrvipusa wrote:Looks like I'm the one guy who believes "Icing" was the icing on the cake. Sam wrote:nebulous termHow so? I have a pirate/burned/second rate flac copy. There is a fair amount grating distortion; upper mids or whatever. Was giving me a headache. Is this inherit to the recording or did I get what I payed for? was my question. Hard copies routinely sound better than freebie copies. The track listing has nothing to do with it. Didn't mean to be so short.(and thx Richard.)

OK, now I can repost here:There's a Cherubs tribute CD coming out next year [on a tiny label called Unfortunate Miracle] and they're looking for bands to contribute... 11 songs so far on the CD have been claimed. Pink City is considering doing "Baby Huey." Wondering if any other noisy PRF groups would be into this. ... Just thought I would throw this out there - it might be a lot of fun.The songs that are taken already are:1. Carjack Fairy2. Quitter3. Venus Flytrap4. Zip Up Boots5. Pixie Stix6. Blackhouse7. Stag Party8. Playdough9. Pink Party Dessert10. Mr. Goy11. Big GroovyYou can get in touch with the people who are doing this tribute CD thing on the Cherubs facebook fan page.
