NOT CRAP

Graham Bonnar? He was an excellent drummer, Much better than Jez. Always wondered what happened to him.

...now I know he haunts hockey forums.

no actually this guys name is Danny... and he was a very temporary fill in for the band between Raise and Mezcal Head from what I understand... really nice guy.

from Wikipedia:

In 1992, Bonnar abandoned the band at the Canadian border less than a half dozen dates into a two-month headlining tour of the U.S. Tour manager Phil Ames called in Danny Ingram from Washington, DC, to fill in on drums for the rest of the U.S. tour and a short tour of Japan. Rather than replace Bonnar permanantly, the Swervies had Ingram move to London for a UK and European tour. In 1993, the group - with Ingram still on drums - did a U.S. tour in support of Soundgarden. Word got around that this tour was less than amicable, with allegations that Soundgarden placed limits on Swervedriver's live volume level in case they stole their thunder. This was a common tactic employed by Soundgarden during the 90's against support acts. Following an appearance at the Huldstfred festival in Sweden, Vines departed to form the heavy metal Skyscraper. Swervedriver’s final release with the original lineup, 1992's "Never Lose That Feeling" EP, appeared to be the group's last.

Are you thinking of Chapterhouse or something?

no, i don't know chapterhouse.

i thought when I saw them they had 3 guitar players. But what I was really referring to were the multi guitar tracks on the records. There must be 4 or 5 primary guitar tracks, with different tones and different parts on many of their songs. It's all quite phil spector, but i love it. I love the way their records sound - just a huge buzzing wash of guitars...
