Not crap at all, so elegant. Really looking forward to the new album.
I'm also trying to find a mint copy of the original CD of 'Dogs' on Socialist, so please send a PM if you think you might be able to help me out with that.

33Been So Long
It's been so long since we went for drinks
Just to laugh and talk about how we're so lucky.
Our nights are tired and full of excuses.
You're crueller now, and I never do listen.
We work so hard just to get things done
Hoping we'll be happier years to come.
I don't know if we'll ever be free like that first year we spent,
But I know I can't live without you. I still love you.

So wonderful; so sad.

People get promos. People also shop on ebay and download things from soulseek, etc.
Dammit. I tried the soulseek but the one person I found who had it never got online.

I know there is a "last time you cried" thread to post on, but just let me say that the last time I cried was when listening to this very song on a crowded commuter train. I hardly ever cry and I certainly don't make a habit of crying in public places. This was also the first time I ever heard the song and I wasn't depressed, sad or anything. It was the end of your average, boring workday, and suddenly I'm crying on a train.

The point: this music, Nastasia's, is powerful, disarming stuff. Even if there are only a couple good moments on the new album it will be worth getting.
This one made me cry just this morning:
My friend said
That she saw you last
That you talked awhile
And it was good but sad
And I can’t believe how long it's been
I don’t know what to do about it
Summertime
We’re all drinking beers
We can’t live without us
We all work so hard
And I can’t believe how long it's been
I don’t know what to do about it
Too much in between
There’s too much in between
Now and then I think about
How we get along without you
Too much in between
There’s too much in between

37I only got "Run to Ruin" but it is amazing.
It sorta reminds of Cat Power without the bullshit drama.
Such an amazing voice.
Yes, I have nothing to add!

38Her show was great. Not a lot of people showed up ( esp. for a Fri night). New record is very good.

39this is the kind of thing i should like, but i don't. i downloaded a couple of her records a little over a year ago, and i still can't get through an entire record without feeling bored and then a little bit more bored, and then slightly irritated.

40I booked her at a club in my town and she played last night and was amazing...even better than I imagined she would be..
Here is a photo from the show that I also posted in another thread:
