Cakes, we appear to mirroring each other: same or similar age, and my wife and I have just had our first child. He’s only a couple of weeks old, and on our first proper walk outside with him, we took refuge in the local ramen restaurant when we realised all the cafes were closed and were worried about him getting cold.
My wife took this photo to share with friends and mock me and what are apparently known as “hipster sandals”.
The napkin was more for his protection than for warmth.

From sometime last year. The child is the only one who really gets photographed often, but somehow this one got taken. Probably late summer/early fall--I don't think I'd axed all the coco hair before that point.

Maaaaan it was so long since I went to a music festival. Almost forgot that people actually do that. The last time was two or three years of a kickass electronic music festival here, then everyone decided they didn't want to go to festivals anymore, or were "too old". Around that time I started to consider that this friend group and I were maybe growing apart. 2011 or 2012 that must've been.
