Hey, so I tried asking Reddit, then I realized I was being a dumbass and if anyone would know the answer to this question, he or she would be on this forum.
Okay, on Netflix, there's this show, StartUp. In Season 1, Episode 4, "Angel Investor", at the 24:30 mark, there's a song playing in the background of the scene. I've recorded a brief section of it and uploaded it here, but the music is diagetic and is in the background, which is making it hard to transcribe the lyrics to Google them and makes it impossible to Shazam it, although I doubt it's in Shazam anyway.
Does anyone know what the song is and who the artist is?

32Goddammit I love questions like this but I just dumped Nutfux temporarily. So curious what this music is.Anonymous37 wrote: Fri Jun 11, 2021 9:27 pm Hey, so I tried asking Reddit, then I realized I was being a dumbass and if anyone would know the answer to this question, he or she would be on this forum.

34I'm a longtime fan of the animated show, Adventure Time. I just watched the few new 45 minute specials they released on HBO Max. They were solid, but not magical. The wife and I are getting ready to check out Mare of Easttown.
The last good surprise I had with a lesser known show was Devs on Hulu, a tech thriller with Nick Offerman as a villain.

35Oh man I'm jealous of you getting to start that show. It's so good, so much mystery, so much durdur.losthighway wrote: Tue Jun 15, 2021 7:41 am The wife and I are getting ready to check out Mare of Easttown.

36Mare is good. I have a serious thing for Kate Winslet, too.losthighway wrote: Tue Jun 15, 2021 7:41 am I'm a longtime fan of the animated show, Adventure Time. I liked Devs a lot too. Also, It was shot mostly (if not all) at UC Santa Cruz, which was fun to see. Beautiful campus.

38So, zombies yadda yadda, I know...but, I see that Black Summer S2 debuts on Netflix later this week. If you've not seen S1 yet, and this kind of post-apocalyptic grime is your thing, then I can recommend it. It's pretty much The Walking Dead minus all the tiresome soap-opera/grand-arc bullshit. Bleak, spare, tense stuff, with none of the bloat. It doesn't do anything massively different with the genre, but I was surprised by how effective it was. I'm looking forward to seeing if they can keep it up.

I talk disjointed music-related guff over here. You're welcome.

39Castlevania on Netflix. It is both the best western anime and the best video game film adaptation, by far (not high bars) and this crushes. In between engaging action choreography, it's a story about love and the philosophy of power. Acting is A+.

40Yes! We are doing the same, but this is the first time it’s taken hold for her. I think this is my 3rd time through. We’re on season 3 now, and she’s been replying with Indeed a lot lately.
So, so good.
