Not familiar with those I'm afraid. And looking up some info, they're way out of my cultural (and generational) sphere. Fun music though! Both that of the TV series and the 2001 movie (though I presume the latter is less tr00).
* The original piano score to Halloween reigns supreme, but I dig the brief recap before the title sequence in the sequel as well as the pumpkin splitting open revealing that creepy-ass skull.
** Opening titles to Lake Mungo aren't available, so in lieu of that enjoy the spooky vibes to the minimalist opening of the NOTLD '90 remake. Not sure why it gives me such a thrill, but it does.

Top 5 Shittiest 'Big Four' Metal Bands After 1990:
I feel like this "fictional band" thing needs its own thread.
Absolutely. So I can sing the praises of the Riverbottom Nightmare Band.

Yeah I know you've all been making top 5 lists in your head ever since you first saw High Fidelity, so let's go.
Top 5 chart pop of the 00s
2. "A Thousand Miles" Vanessa Carlton
Pffft that's just a mathematically simplified version of I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles) but without the Proclaimers' kooky Scottish charm.
Top 5 things that piss me off at work:
1. Psych doctors
2. Emergency Medicine doctors
3. Trauma surgery doctors
4. Ortho surgery doctors
5. Nurses who've never heard of a taxi (which is most of them)
5a. Doctors in general
