I'm afraid "horseradish" is the only correct answer.

For real tho. And I'm the type of guy who will dip his finger into a jar of mayo for a quick snack. Who TF is putting mayonnaise on a peanut butter sandwich? I don't even understand the premise.

Right!? More than one person evidently..

Peanut butter + something sweet is probably good, even if the combo seems a little strange (mango, pineapple, etc.). Any more talk of pb + mayo or avocado or worchestershire sauce or whatever and I'm resurrecting Erawk's Slob Dude Cookbook thread..

This comes from the days when you could only get natural peanut butter. The mayo makes it more spreadable and less prone to separation. There's no reason to mix mayo with normal peanut butter though.

I buy natural peanut butter. I haven't really needed to, but couldn't one just add more peanut (or grapeseed, or avocado, etc) oil?

I think that would just give you more of the greasy layer to separate out. Mayo is an emulsion. I think the hydrogenated oil they use in normal peanut butter behaves differently, too.

Just stir it up.

It never really works out. Always greasy at the beginning and powdery at the end. I used to try leaving the jar upside down for a while before opening it, or putting it in the fridge after. Inconsistent results.

Sunflower seed butter is more to my taste, if I'm going to go to the effort.
