See, the difference between "Now I want to sniff some glue" and the lyrics to "My Wife," is that the Ramones lyrics don't suck.

Further analysis yields the following:

The lyrics to "Now I Wanna Sniff Some Glue" are kind of dumb, but they are true. They are true on both a personal and universal level. Being a teenager is boring.

The lyrics to "My Wife" are fucking stupid and suck.

SHIT I forgot that you were the drummer who payed attention to lyrics. Music kicks ass, and Oxes vocal parts are great.

Of these two songs, Who Are You is worse. However, they're both ok songs. The real chunderdome is between Squeezebox and Behind Blue Eyes.

Because of this thread I now know of Joe Pera. I also realize Entwistle’s lyrics are terrible.

Heaven or Hell gets a pass because the live versions rip. My Wife is an ok song but the horns are indeed awful and Moon sounds like he’s phoning it in.

The Who is the epitome of uneven yet undeniably great.

Posting the lyrics doesn't reflect the sound of Entwistle's voice singing them...which is 99.9% of the whole effing caper.
