Nice to have a clean transfer of "Chica Chica Bongo" now, plus some Stinky Toys stuff, etc. A good primer of sorts.

Unless my search skills are even worse than I thought, no-one's mentioned l'Histoire de Melody Nelson yet. An album, not a band, but the OP mentioned they were interested in French music in general. l'Histoire de Melody Nelson is a masterpiece, and L'Enfant Assassin des Mouches is not far behind it. Discussed here, along with the property of Slintiness.
