If whatever the degree of racism in the "Rockabilly..." peeps is where things hit the tipping point into whatever the racism version of "Skynet..." is?

We were already hosed, and the "Rockabilly..." peeps is just one of the many inevitable versions that actually came to pass.

I was not the least little bit surprised that it turned out that this band was European.

With all due respect to board peeps from that corner of the world, your rockabilly is regularly "Off..." and almost always sticks out when it is.

On the other hand, I will take all of the unfortunate stuff if it gets me The Living End...

That there are no racists in punk rock or garage rock or you name the genre? But would you call punk rock crap because it's an extremely white phenomenon.
I'm not defending rockabilly btw, I don't care for it.

I've spent time dipping my toes into various sub-cultures where announcing your allegiance to the cause via your costume is a big part of any social event (BDSM, trannies, oi, goth) and man oh man, rockabilly (in the UK at least) is by far the dullest and dumbest. The music is always clown-shoes-caked-in-dogshit levels of awful, too.
