Isn't the Dukes of Hazzard itself... I mean, as a kid I never thought to say what is up with this TV show being a monument to the Lost Cause, I was just happy to see the car jump over the train. But there were adults sanctioning all this, and apparently happy to accept the good ol' boys were never meanin' no harm? But you didn't see Knight Rider driving around with a swastika on his roof and blasting the Horst Wessel song on his horn.

The Dukes of Hazzard were kinda subversive in that all the actors were yankees.
