Good call on Dust. They and Budgie have been popping up a lot on my Spotify daily.

How do we feel about Wishbone Ash? I really only know Argus, which went in a more progressive direction, but the debut is pretty straight up heavy blues and they bring the proto guitarmony.

Iron Butterfly? Seems like they were more flower power generally, but the early 70s live stuff gets heavy.

I Iike Argus by Wishbone Ash, but it's not really heavy at all.

Not a great phan of live albums, but "Strangers in the night" is pure awesoneness. Can't think of a better live album in terms of band's tightness and sound quality.

Budgie were so Not Crap.

Budgie have been mentioned, so I'm going to nominate the Edgar Broughton Band as another

Agree about live albums in general, and Rainbow's On Stage is up there with UFO's Strangers... One of the reasons I still haven't decided between the two bands.

Edited: I don't know why but I always think Long Live is a live album. Maybe the title...

I just want everyone to know how much fun I've been having driving around listening to U.F.O.

Of those in the list, Deep Purple.

For multiple reasons, Budgie would get my vote if they were an option.
