Uitna makes a seasonal Lime Pilsner I enjoy very much.

Radlers are good too.

Bump, because I remember seeing a few FMs talking about German beer a few weeks ago but don’t remember which thread it was in.

Within the past year, I had a bad experience with a hoppy beer (Revolution Anti-Hero). It wasn’t the beer’s fault, but let’s just say I can’t “stomach” that flavor right now. So I haven’t been drinking IPAs.

Lately, I have been alternating between Belgian ales (e.g., Leffe) and German strong beers (e.g., Weizenbock).

German beers operating on the fringes of the Reinheitsgebot are probably my favorites. I’m still not entirely sure if that law is net positive or too limiting.

Realized I haven't voted, so I voted wheat. I think I'd take a hefeweizen style over anything. I just had Orion's wheat beer and it's awesome. Beers I regularly have around the house are:

Orion Original
Orion Shokunin Southern Wheat
Rodenbach Classic
Rodenbach Alexander
Weihenstephan Hefeweissbier Dunkel

I'd probably be happy with this line-up forever.

I do enjoy the occasional saison, though they vary so much, and there's not single one I'd want forever.

Tough. The older I get, the lighter and more "pure" I want my beer.

So I guess pale lagers and pilsners that don't suck, at this point.

What's Köstritzer Schwarzbier considered? A dark lager or dunkel of some sort? That's good too.

Wheatbeers are cool when they don't taste too much like bubblegum or bananas (usually from the yeast?).

Nothing beats stout or porter for a nightcap or cold weather, if the ABV is not insane.

A sour every blue moon when they're not overly gimmicky or tasting of fruity salad dressing, although the wine geek in me can dig the nose. But more often than not, these are just busy.

Can't really stomach most IPAs, although some of the English bitter ales are lovely.

Seconding Rodenbach and Weihenstephaner in general.
