Every American ever knows chicken pot pie…they even show up at fast food places (I think KFC/popeyes has them?) Not much else though. Was always low key curious about hot chicken. Deep inside of my heart I always knew it had something to do with an abundance of spices meant to sear the tongue, which to myself isn't enjoyable.
