Here we don't call anybody anything nice, so I was over the moon first time somebody called me "sir". That was in Copenhagen and not in the "Sir, you need to lower your voice, sir" -kind of way.
I absolutely loved when we were visiting Birmingham in the UK and the lady at the hotel called us flowers.
