Please take this as a statement from a old non-social media participant, so I realize I am WAY behind here, but I'm seriously concerned for our future as a species.
Every music sub....no matter how obscure or the artist being an oldies act is filled with nothing but summaries of Spotify "achievements". Like I listened to 10,000 hours of Spacehog this year or I am in the top 100 of Wheatus listeners. It's like people stopped having complete thoughts and have just moved to grunting, gesticulating, and grabbing their crotch. Am I cooked?
Re: Website: Reddit
32In anything music-related on YT, Reddit, etc., "old heads" will feel the need to state their ages and say "still listening." No one cares, geriatrics!
We're headed for social anarchy when people start pissing on bookstores.

34Man, I would love for this to be the case, but I think we're talking sheeple, but Indistinguishable in practice really. I think even celebs are joining in.TylerDeadPine wrote: Wed Dec 04, 2024 12:04 pmbots?zorg wrote: Wed Dec 04, 2024 9:36 am Please take this as a statement from a old non-social media participant, so I realize I am WAY behind here, but I'm seriously concerned for our future as a species.

Re: Website: Reddit
35Turns out Reddit is a pretty useful organizing tool outside the reach of ZuckMuskFuck. So NC for that.
Re: Website: Reddit
37For what it's worth, I find it pretty usable on my phone, but the actual website UI is horrible. On my phone, I can get myself into a subreddit, open the first post, and then swipe left through all the subreddit posts. On the web, even with the enhancement tools, I can't find any easy way to simply scroll through full posts easily.
