Those guys were in a league of their own when it came to "Joke..."/"Parody..." covers.
The album version of "Summer Breeze" is only there because Seals And Crofts threw a straight up fit over the initial version of the tune that Type O Negative put together.

They really were; apparently Neil Young is another one who despised a cover they did (Cinnamon Girl).
