me. i like "give 'em enough rope" and i don't have a copy on vinyl.

but also, i thought it was touching and relatable that he'd scrawled his name across the outer sleeve with what i'm presuming was late-teenage enthusiasm.

it reminded me of how excited i was to find "sandinista" in the used bins when i was an awkward and scrawny, obnoxious and acerbic high school kid.

there were definitely rarer, more collectible (and, let's face it, better) records in the drop, but this was the one that immediately grabbed me.

(plus, it's going to be hilarious to swap that outer sleeve over to my copy of "american beauty").

Some real cool stuff put up today, wish I'd been on it early enough to grab the SKWM "Our Secret"/"The Chain" single since mine doesn't have a sleeve.

Last week there was stuff popping up throughout the morning so not sure if that will be the case today.

EDIT: lots of $$$ items today and many of them gone. Picked up a Sebadoh 7" (another one I was surprised to see in his collection, though I know some of their material was recorded at his house).

I don't know why but I haven't gotten a single notification from the website despite signing up with two separate email addresses. Frustrating.

I think it was up for $45. "Quicksand" and "Slipstream" singles were both up as well and I believe were ~$30 to $40.

Also really wish I'd been able to grab that '78 "Rock Lobster"/"52 Girls" single that was up there!
