Back in the day, Blackhouse was regarded as a joke. I think they were even an admitted parody perpetrated by the Psyclones.

"christ..." <static and beeping> "christ is a beacon..." <static and beeping> "blackhouse..." <static and beeping> "christ..."

And I remember laughing at it.

I saw Larry Norman in 1977 after drinking a whole lot of cheap wine and smoking a hogleg of Mexican with a friend of mine. He did this thing with feedback from his acoustic guitar making UFO noises that I was pretty entertained by, and I liked his voice.

My sincere apologies to the christians, but regarding their music, my ability to seperate the parodies from the 'true believers' is severely compromised.
