i think women should stick to cooking meals and washing dishes and pumping out kids.we would all be better off if they left the rock to men and concentrated on knitting Winger scarves.

mauling walter, i might have said something to that effect at some point as a joke but i do not believe that women need to stay in the kitchen. my wife would kill me if i was that way!

i agree with the midget about women bass players. there seems to be a ton. what is the explanation behind this? also, are there any female drummers besides the babe in the donnas that are any good?

How about Yoshimi Yakota? Georgia Hubley? Maureen Tucker?
Plus bands like Afrirampo, Ex-Girl, and Cornelius' touring band all have excellent female drummers.
And i don't see a problem with female bassists. After all, topping my list of bass inspiration is Carol Kaye.

Sara Lund (from Unwound) is one of my favorite drummers around, regardless of gender.
