i watched it without feeling a thing. i could list the problems i had with it... but it all leads back to that. i didn't get involved with any character. the batmobile was just a slow gas-guzzling suv. when morgan freeman started talking about microwave ionization of the city's water supply, i really lost interest.
not an offensive movie. its heart was probably in the right place. i just felt like a passive spectator the whole time.

What's it like not being able to respect practically anybody?

just saw this one on the old t.v.

i say the batmobile was cool in this one - it looked like you could really drive it.

michael caine is great; he nails the role of alfred with a hand tied behind his back.

so how does liam neeson get cast to play a martial arts master/jedi in evey movie. how did that happen? "ok... we need to cast a supervillian with unsurpassed agility and swordplay skills... oh i know, Liam Neeson!" still he was pretty good.

morgan freeman makes this pointless and utterly dry character somewhat intersting.

katie holmes is awful. can't they make one superhero movie without a love story? can't a superhro just bang chicks like any one of us would do if we were bruce wayne?

I thought it was the best Batman movie, but that's really not saying much.

In terms of Hollywood super-hero movies, Unbreakable and Spiderman 2 were far, far better.

CRAP.

I've seen it twice and I will definitely buy it and watch it again and again. Fantastic action movie with all the little touches that make comic book movies fun. Plus Bale's a hell of an actor and I enjoy the intensity he brings to the role (as opposed the forced dourness or blank affect other Batmen have substituted for intensity in previous Batman movies).

Smashing.

Even if it has got that bloke out of James in it. He has no lines, but it's him.

"Victor Zsasz

Victor Zsasz uses a Spike figure from the Buffy/Angel action figure line. Spike's hair was sanded down and the entire figure was reworked with Magic Sculpt to create to appropriate details. The likeness to actor Tim Booth is uncanny!"
