I think I have that EP ingrained in my subconcious or something. I saw them like four times around that time, and it was that album front to back each time. March To the Sea was great, IMO. I haven't heard the new one enough to comment though- only a quick scan on their site. Do you feel like they are just getting too repetative in their sound?

I just found it to be the wrong turn... it's all really restrained and "soft" following something like Mogwai,MBV, Swervedriver or Godspeed (without the strings). I know, the fuck do I know about bands and ideology behind albums/music?I like Australasia, but I think its too long. Maybe I just don't like that kinda of psych-doom metal anymore? I don't know...it just seems like you're on Hydrahead right? Don't be soft about it, and don't be boring, unless you want to be the first band on that label to do so! But they continue to get love from everyone... so maybe I'm missing something.

Just a thought.
