Max Bialystock is trying to convince Leo Bloom to cook his books for him in Mel Brooks' original film, The Producers. Let it be known, there is no imitation worth watching, be it Broadway or current musical film form. Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder are irreplaceable.

No production involving Nathan Hale and Matthew Broderick is worth watching, IMO.
But yeah the original Producers is a classic. Some of Mel Brooks' finest work.
