This happened to me once when I spilled soy milk on my powerbook. Compressed air and repeated tappings (until it stopped making crunchy noises) helped.

Detail from my day:

Yesterday I woke up on the tour bus, walked outside into the bright morning and found myself in the shadow of the right field wall of Fenway Park.

I was kind of excited about this, being a baseball fan besides being a drummer.

Last night's show killed.

Life is good.

Two days ago I was wallking to home from the center of W. Chester and came way too close to a young deer. Backed up and gave the deer right of way. It(she?) stared at me and didn't run off. I was worried more about the mother deer running out of the woods and attacking me.

Last night same thing. The deer doesn't listen to me but it didn't run off into the street and startle some driver.

Since December 2004, I sell cars for Peugeot in Nice. I started to sell to regular people. I did well and after 6 months, I was offered to sell cars to firms which is much more technical and it was more difficult. Since January 2006, I got specialized in the sales to Public Administrations and did quite well.

Yesterday, the woman who was responsible for the corporate sales in the Antibes area resigned and today I was offered her position and I accepted.

Bad thing: it's 25 kilometers west of Nice so I'll have to get up earlier and I won't be able to have lunch at home.
Good point: last year, she earned exactly the double of me. There is a bigger potential.

I can deal with this 8)

i got turned down from a job, received a paycheck from another job that was HALF of what i am owed, and hopefully will be going out to a nice dinner with friends to forget about the depression.

on the plus side, i stopped by a local record shoppe and found a copy of pegboy's "three chord monte" twelve-inch for $4, a few days after finding a copy of the cows "cunning stunts" LP for $7.
