Re: suicide, the world needs MORE good people in it, not less. Hex, you know more than most people here how bad things have already been. I know it can always get worse, but it's not like the current administration has been trying to do much for marginalized people. You have made it this far, through a pandemic, 4 years of Trump, and 4 years of Sleepy Joe doing diddly squat. You can keep going, and I hope you and your friends survive this. You matter.

Me and my loved ones have had a huge uptick in harassment this year. Trump ran on a platform of trans genocide and he fucking won handily. Fascism is on the rise and quite frankly I don’t want to be around for it. I don’t want my only reason for living to be other people’s only reason for living. God fucking damn it, I wish people would realize this universe is fucking awful and just end the cycle already once and for all

Forgive me, I appreciate your predicament, what's stopping you moving to somewhere more friendly? This forum has done amazing things for people in the past..

I have an entire found family here, and with the GOP’s plans there won’t be anywhere in the US that’s safe. There’s no way in hell I could be happy leaving my partners and closest friends behind. I’m also disabled and have no income and am surviving on food stamps and medicaid (the latter of which is almost certainly going to stop covering my hormones under this administration), so moving outside the country is basically impossible and things are getting worse for trans people in all but the hardest countries to immigrate to

There’s not a single option that’s looking more appealing than suicide to me right now. I just really don’t want to do it alone. If at least one of my partners wants to together it’ll be the easiest, quickest decision I’ve ever made

I’m feeling this so fucking hard right now. All I’m valued for by these assholes is my body and they’d rather kill me and my loved ones rather than deal with their own issues.

Not that it really matters—this election has shown beyond a doubt that a huge portion of the populace are just absolutely horrific people who won’t be stopped without the use of force, and far too many people refuse to accept that. Fascists now have control of the most powerful country in the world. There absolutely NEEDS to be retaliation if death camps are to be avoided, but who am I fucking kidding to have any hope whatsoever. Am just glad I have the means to kill myself very easily

This is the point of no return. Every issue you can think of will get worse, and there's not much you can do about it. Trump isn't even the scariest part, it's the Heritage Foundation cretins and tech ghouls (plus the lowest of the low from his first term) he just let in. We all get to suffer in some form now because people in rural counties thought the price of bologna was too high. THIS WILL SHOW EM! OWN THE LIBS! Just let the planet cook already..
