I absolutely loved Psychonauts.
I honestly think its the first time i really laughed out loud
while playing a video game.

Do you know if the makers of this game have made anything else?

The genius behind Psychonauts is the great game designer Tim Schafer, who also did the Monkey Island series (which was awesome, though those titles are pretty old now), Full Throttle (imagine The Road Warrior with motorcycles instead of cars), and Grim Fandango (which was also great, but was a rather slow-paced puzzle game).

The Internets tell me he's working on a new Swords and Sorcery title called Brütal Legend which will star Jack Black as the lead voice actor.

Given his track record, I'm sure it will be a great game, loaded with tongue-in-cheek humor. I have a feeling there will also be some Metalocalypse-style jokes lampooning heavy metal and hard rock. Really looking forward to that one.

It was supposed to be easy, but I found out I really didn't have the proper size iron for the work. I finally ordered another ps2 that I should be getting on monday. I can't wait to finally finish Resident Evil 4.

If you still want to mod your PS2 try getting hold of 'SwapMagic' discs, and a set of magic keys ( or blue-tac and a paperclip). This has worked pretty well for me, allowing me to play import games with no chance of fucking up the console.

Back on topic, I'm currently approaching 100 hours on 'The World Ends With You', a ridiculous Square-Enix RPG set in modern day Tokyo. I'm enjoying it partly because in a little over two weeks I will actually get to visit Shibuya for real. I'm planning to stock up on some new releases for the DS, including 'Rhythm Tengoku Gold' and 'Daigasso Band Bros Deluxe'. Rhythm action a-go-go!
