Hey!

How do you like them? I can't decide between them and a set of Nitto moustachios.

The bars are comfy as hell. For the first time I have bars that fit me. All positions are great. I got the 44cm size. It's just hard to describe, but it's comfy all over.

However, my friend has a Nitto Moustache he may be interested in selling. He's not had them on a bike in about a year. Let me know.

these get really pissed off anytime you are near their home.

They did. They weren't bumble bees, but yellow jackets.

I won. So far.

Then I turned the faucet to water a hanging plant, and a big enough spider ran up to my hand from under the house. I jumped back three feet. Damn.

That night I saw Plasticland outside. It was life affirming, once the soundman got it together.

If you do, I'd be interested in what you think. Years ago I had my eye on the Mamiya 6, but never checked one out. (One of these days, I may convert the 2x3 Speed Graphic if I can get the shutter fixed and can find a 220 back.)

Mmmm, camera porn.

I love the 7II, except for the fact that if the battery is dead, you cannot use it. Grrrrr.

Dude came into Starbucks and asked to use our bathroom. Came out with his fucking monster cock hanging out of his fly and proceeded to order coffee from one of the ladies at the register. We sold him his coffee, he kept his giant cock out, and sat down, adjusted, and drank his coffee. We didn't know whether or not to call the cops. He came back up to the register, thanked the female baristas for their service, and left, cock dangling.

I mean really, who would use the bathroom at a Starbucks?

I'm currently living and working in Crawley, which is about halfway between London and Brighton. It's a craphole, and there's not much going on here at all. Or so I thought. Today I opened up my paper to find this story...

The video referred to is here.

On an unrelated note I had to fill in a form to get internet access at my work. The form asked me to specify which operating system the computers in my department are using. The options were:

Windows 3.1 []
Windows 95/98 []

As of right now, I am at my home in the Riverwest area of Milwaukee, WI. Down a few houses from mine, a guy flipped out and has a gun. We heard gunshots when we returned from dinner and saw folks running in the street and yelling at eachother and vehicles dashing to and fro.

According to a neighbor, the guy has been living on this street for years and has been know to be an even-tempered, normal, good-natured chap who would be the last guy you'd expect to be firing a gun in a residential neighborhood. I suspect it's some sort of domestic dispute or something. Or maybe the guy just snapped.

They've blocked off the street (Bremen St. south of the intersection with Center St. near the Fuel Cafe) and there is SWAT goons with big guns walking towards the house.

I wonder if the guy will kill himself, either by his own hand or by getting himself shot by the police.

The sirens continue as more authorities arrive. I'm hoping for some TV news team to show up.

I've seen some fucked up shit in this neighborhood before, but this takes the cake.

Meanwhile, some asshole who moved out a few days ago piled all of his garbage in the alley right next to our house...

Glad I'm moving to Slinger, WI (population 4,000 or so) in a week or two.

That's the most exciting thing that's happened all day.

I listened to Chairs Missing by Wire at work today. I feel mysterious today...
