Something I appreciate about streaming services that you don't get with albums is that you can throw all of a band's album into a playlist and throw that shit on shuffle. I've been listening to the six Shellac albums on shuffle over the past couple of days and it's been completely delightful to hear some of the combinations that come out of it. It's almost as if I'm seeing them in person again even though we'll never again have that opportunity.

Another thing I appreciate is listening to albums I purchased so that I can continue giving the bands I'm listening to money, however meager.

Anyway... right now "Gary" from "Dude Incredible" is on.

Right now Black Heart Procession 2 but just finished To All Trains…

Weirdly the recording feels like the first 7”s, more roomy than some of the more “recent” albums. Some of the songs feel like they just get going then end… but that’s obviously a very deliberate choice. I find it impossible to rank Shellac albums if I’m honest… it ends up being which ones I listen to more. Which tend to be Hurts and Terraform.

To All Trains is a great album, regardless of the circumstances.
