Car got rifled through and some things stolen last night. Nothing life altering, but enough to make it sting (like my second pair of prescription glasses?). Spouse reminds me almost every time we walk away from the car to lock it - I am fairly absent minded so it doesn't bother me that much, but sometimes it gets to me a bit as an adult with self determination.
Car last night was %100 left unlocked by spouse, who remembers the timeline of the day very differently, and I'm going to let that go as an emotional investment in our marriage happiness.

Good man. Story of my life.

The rewards will beget the cost. It was a cut and dry investigation. I have timestamp of my purchase at Home Depot upon which I came straight home. I then have Strava data of spouse's evening walk, before which they went to the car to grab a windbreaker. If that wasn't enough to sway the jury, we then have text messages to/from our friends immediately afterwards, confirming the windbreaker was indeed left at their house.

Oh I would have totally fucked this up by now.
I'm really surprised my spouse hasn't dumped my insensitive ass.

I went to (and played) my first Thundersnow and I am still kinda high from the experience. What a fun time. Everything was amazing. Every band was great. Friends great.
Great.

Sciatica like a goblin sneaking up and stabbing me in the leg at seemingly random intervals. Ugh.

Watching the news on mute, the chyron was “fbi returning Nancy Guthrie home.”
I said “that’s great! So she’s alive?”
Oh no it’s just really awkward diction. They meant House.
I sometimes wonder if shit like that is a form of clickbait. Or do newsrooms really have no editors anymore?
Either way, sux.
