No, there is another parallel.

Anyone else notice the seamlessness of Matthew's exit and Yut's entrance?

Is this Matthew G. Wauck the same Matthew G. Wauck who, if you do a name search on the internet, was in Opus Dei? Had our Matthew ever claimed that? It would certainly make sense in light of the positions he has argued about in this and many other threads.

RE: Yut, did Matthew show as much disdain for Brian Eno and Robert Fripp as Yut?

Hey, I like Zappa too! Don't paint everyone who likes Zappa with the same brush. But then, I do like Robert Fripp and Brian Eno also.

Sorry - I wanted to put a disclaimer after this point. There are good reasons to like Zappa. I don't like Zappa (as a musician), but I don't have a grudge against anyone solely for liking Zappa. But - and I think you have to admit this - Zappa is one of those artists that some people like because they see liking Zappa as evidence of cleverness. Again, that's not the only reason to like Zappa, but it's a reason, and so when you see someone who is in love with his own cleverness, and he likes Zappa, the connection becomes plausible...

No offense meant!

no offense taken. you do have a point about Zappa, he did have this too clever, smart-ass quality to some of his work.

About Yut, I don't think he's alternate persona of Matthew's. In my (admittedly limited) experience with a troll on another board, their alternate personalities all seem to have a common resonance or point of view. On this other board I go on, this one troll had 13 or so different pseudonyms at one point, until they were found out, all communicating with each other, from the same ISP. Very weird.

I wasn't implying they were the same person as much as saying that this thread abhors a douchenozzle vacuum.

Will you please write a song about Matthew? Don't make it obvious (so he won't be able to tell his friend god about it), but please, write a song about him. It will be so great.

"Matthew Wauck's Panties"?

Remember when Matthew kept asking me out on a date? That was cute!
