Sounds Like Braile - a great math/prog band which my 2nd cousin plays in... anyone who likes Battles or Don Cab or the like should check them out...

Starting:
Terry Riley's "You're no good" The concept was much better than the execution of it. The mangled soul track after the drone intro is great. Terry really dropped the ball on this one.
