The eye of a swimming whale.

Mine's a random picture I took of a weird, plastic rabbit with stubble smoking a cig with a K on it's forehead. It was in the window of a hippy clothes shop in Fitzroy, Melbourne. I've gone back to try to buy it but it's not there anymore and the girl behind the counter denied all knowledge of it.

Pretty sure that is a Frank Kozik / Man's Ruin related figurine of some sort... (if it matters). Or maybe the 'K' stands for 'Kidrobot'... or maybe just for 'Kozik' - shit I don't know...

I have a Christmas postcard somewhere here from mail order back when the label was still in business... has a drawing of that same smoking, bestubbled rabbit, except it's wearing a Pope hat and the postcard says "Happy Birthday, Baby Jesus." or something like that...

I have to say though, I certainly don't get what these toys/figurines are about... and are they related to something called 'Qee'? and etc. I don't know who buys these... is this Beanie Babies for degenerate hipsters or something? Just dust-catchers as far as I can tell...? I mean hey, perhaps I collect bullshit too, but...

Eh - that mostly just fell into place one night because I had that plastic pyramid object lying around... (wait, I see that you posted in that thread, so you probably already knew that...)

Anyhow, sorry if my comments came off sounding funny/strange - just trying to share what little I knew about the rabbit character, in case you wanted to know.

I guess I took it to a rambling tangent (it's after midnight here - I should go to bed), but I still have to wonder who it is that might collect all those plastic doo-dads in hundreds of colors, etc.

Have to admit, there is something cool/funny about the little smoking rabbit guy... maybe I can find that postcard and scan it in sometime...

I guess I just got weirded out and was thinking out loud when I see them listed like "Series 5, number 13, comes in 10 different colors, limited run of 200" and then I do the math and just think "Whoa."

Shit. That's the one. Only mine was purple. Shame the guy only ships to the states!
