Yeah even I must admit there are some spectacular players right now.
Ronaldo seems to be playing a different game to everyone else. He's usually half a step ahead of everyone for anything. It's unreal. I'd like to see Smithy and Rooney playing together in the hope that this could translate on an International level. Fat chance but I can dream. Also, Carrick is excellent at the moment.

They have been breathtaking at times this season. The goal against Bolton recently that involved Rooney and Ronaldo was incredible. You know, the one where they broke from their own box and scored in about 10 seconds. Awesome. Actually awesome.

I still think Arsenal in the 2001/2 season is the best football I've ever seen though.

Ronaldo is amazing this season. I'll allow the stepovers, I enjoy them. I also enjoy seeing him get viciously taken out mid-stepover, it just looks funny somehow, so more of the stepovers please. But yes, great player, and still very young.

But Cristiano. Would it be possible, when you miss a goalscoring opportunity by any margin at all, not to pull a face and gesticulate in a manner that suggests your mum has confiscated your porn collection?

You missed. Nobody died. Pulling a face and crying doesn't make you look like you 'mean it' more. You'll slam in some ridiculous free kick in a minute so put a bucket under your eyes, and fuck off.

And, in case you haven't paused to enjoy this immature but very amusing photograph recently, here it is again:

He was nearly manager of Leeds before Dennis Wise arrived, according to the Evening Standard. That's the London Evening Standard, who aren't known for 'steady' reporting where Leeds United are concerned.

A glance at your remaining fixtures does not fill me with confidence though. 3 tough games to come. If you can get a point from either the Southampton or Derby games and 3 against Ipswich, who knows?

Fuck Leeds! I love DRC, but I hope Ippo send them down. My dad always hated Leeds and I'll keep the flame burning. I'll never forgive Ian Harte for getting Marcus Stewart sent off in 2001, which essentially robbed Ippo of a Champions League place.

For those of you that don't speak Farmer, he's talking about Ipswich Town.

Neither will your dad.
