Every single time I drive over one of those "Do Not Back Up, Severe Tire Damage" things, I'm fucking tempted. Like I'm the one motherfucker who could pull that shit off.

Major tonic descending to minor fifth sounds like a stony beach with gently crashing waves when it's overcast and a little chilly. Not exactly sunny but certainly not gloomy either.
Minor tonic to major fifth sounds extremely foreboding. The second chord resonates with dread. Nothing "happy" about it at all.

G6maj7add9 sounds like something that could start a Joe Hisaishi piece.
G6b9add11 sounds messy but I like it, as long as I remove the maj7. Going back and forth between that one and -add13 and then up to a regular G7 sounds really nice, something I associate with some jazz and late romantic/early modern piano pieces.

Instruments are fun.

Every time I rent a car and drive on one of these I'm always worried that I'm going to need to back up suddenly and destroy all the tires.

Every time I rent a car and drive on one of these I'm always worried that I'm going to need to back up suddenly and destroy all the tires.

Actually I am looking into legalities of car insurance through a car rental agency, like us purchasing it through them for the car. If we can legally do this, and not have to pay out of pocket, his 50th birthday present will be renting a car and driving backwards over those things.
