Hi everyone,


I've had a crap week, and was really cranky when I wrote my first post. I'm willing to admit that the boycott is a terrible model for getting things done, as I wish Onstad no harm, and historically, a boycott is pretty ineffective. It also goes against, all the things I'd like to do this year, as my model is to not hurt people. I was having a crap day. that's it.

My end goal was to get the thing I was promised, and isn't ignoble. I didn't want Onstad to give me something that wasn't mine, and I wasn't making a fake claim about anything, so Anthony villalobos, you can fuck off. Anthony, I don't appreciate the implication that I was lying, and you're being a sycophant. Regardless of whether or not I was wrong, steve was wrong, too.

Onstad owes me a t-shirt. If he's going to fuck a fan out of his purchased merchandise, he should pick fans who haven't bent over backwards to promote his comic and ask people to give him money already. Super douche move.

Food and chopjob, your reasonings are sound, and I'm glad you see that there was something inherently flawed in my plan and method. that's why it's good to post things here, so that differing opinions can help me to see a bit more clearly. thanks! Food, your '33% free' example is perfect.

the future "kerbled" thread for onstad is nowhere near as malicious as i was being on this bad day I had. get over it, and I will too, thanks.

I'll get to my proposed solution later, and I think you people will be pleased with how I'm going to handle it.

all in all, I wish no one ill, and wish to do no harm.

I think that today's strip is stunning. I am full of admiration for Onstad's skill in pulling together disparate subplots and ideas into a few panels, and still have enough space for surreal humour and near-non sequiturs. For someone who occasionally gives out the impression of working on the hoof, structurally he's a master.

Molly's dad is fucking great.
