I'm kind of obsessed with Athena, which is a tight 90 minutes of some of the most jaw dropping filmmaking since Fury Road, and is also a Greek tragedy about police brutality. The first 10 minutes are perfection.

Aye, it’s excellent. Thought I’d miss his voiceovers but I didn’t.

How To with John Wilson is really really great.

Yes. Some episodes are so bizarre I had to watch multiple times.

Reboot on hulu is darkly funny. Never thought I'd like anything with Johnny Knoxville in it but he's surprisingly good.

Dinner in America, on Hulu. Good little film, very sweet. Cameo by David Yow.

It was as fun/silly/stupid as one would hope. Nice thing to get for free after a crappy week.

We've been watching 1899 at my house. It's pretty cool, maybe not as cool as Dark but it's got an absorbing, suspenseful plot. Like all puzzle box shows it's hard to imagine the reveals will live up to the anticipation.

I hate the needle drop trend in shows though. I don't think it's edgy to throw a 60's/70's rock hit on over people in Victorian dress.

I love all of the European polyglot characters as much as the times that someone is expressing their torment in Cantonese or Polish and a sympathetic listener is tragically unable to understand.

Fleishman is in Trouble on hulu is pretty good so far. Depressing 'comedy', but well done. The "oh, good for you"s he gets after he tells people he's a doctor (or basically anything other than a money-chasing socialite) kills me.

Agree on all this, but I don't need to see it again.
