At this rate, *my* court case will be heard and settled before this one is even put on the f'in docket.

Man.

I can imagine how difficult and frustrating all this going to hearings/not actually "hearing" anything/getting excuses/scheduling more hearings is for everyone involved, and I am hoping that things speed up soon. Just so there can be a sense that things are getting done!

Mr. Chimp -

Your explanations of the extra stuff that you see in court are funny and insightful. We're lucky to have someone with your perseverance and gift for writing getting this all down for us.

Thank you.

so i guess being across a few oceans & seas in Turkey qualifies me for being out of the loop, but i have only now heard the horrible news, almost a year later. what a loss...

Tim & Andy, as well as Michael's (plus the two others whom i didn't know's) close friends & families, my belated condolences go out to you. sheesh - i'm still in a state of shock, sitting here for who knows how many hours scrolling through these 20 pages of posts. thanks for the tears, the heartfelt stories, and for all of yr efforts in going to court & keeping us all updated.

i'm sorry to say i only managed to meet Michael very briefly at a show once, but i have the utmost respect & admiration for him. long live his memory, long live Silkworm's memory, thanks to the Gods for giving us a few dozens of years of Michael DAHLQUIST's presence at least, and for the precious jewels of artistry which SKWM left us with. and thanks Tim & Andy for surviving yr waistdeep wade through the bottomless pit - i look forward to rocking out to yr music - as i'm sure Michael is, somewhere up on high.

fuck it's going to be weird to listen to the 'Libertine' CD i've been travelling with... i wish i could reach out & hug all of you fellow electricalhead SKWM fans (aye, must be the grief talking).

enough. much love everyone, carpe diem & enjoy life while you can,

xxx lars

It's been 358 days and I still think about them all the time. Sometimes when I am practicing or playing a show, I imagine at least one of them hanging out - hopefully tapping a toe or humming along. Still such a devastating loss.

He had those up on a server he doesn't use anymore, but is planning on uploading them again soon. Several people have volunteered space, so it's just a matter of him doing the work. I'll continue to prod him when I see him at work.

The photos from the Benefit Show have returned.

Right there with you Sepi. The cemetary where John is buried is a mile from my house. His gravestone is being placed on his plot today. I wasn't able to go, but it has kept me in a fog-like state.

And looking at my calendar all week and planning out my activities I keep losing it when I see the 14th.

If anyone is doing anything next week that is open to friends and such please post it here.
