I took both of my cats to the vet for their shots. The young one (now 2 years) got so scared she was panting and shaking. I never seen her do that before, I felt pretty bad. Got her home quickly, they are both fine.

Here's the first half of my work today at the warehouse:
The stereo at work is crapping out all the time. When the output volume gets past a certain point, the thing starts having seizures and the mute button keeps clicking itself on and off. After, like, three hours of trying to figure out what's happening in the receiver, I determined that if I unplug the left speaker then it doesn't do that anymore. And if I plug that speaker back in, it comes through really really quietly and starts giving the thing seizures again. And if I plug it into the right speaker out, it still does the same thing. And if I plug the right speaker into the left out, nothing goes wrong. So we're down to one speaker. And our CD player won't do mono out, so it looks like it's classic rock radio today. All this did was confirm both mine and my boss's suspicions that I don't really know shit about fixing stereos (that's why I'm complaining here rather than turning it into a question in the tech room). All I can do is take them apart and put them back together without fucking anything up.
I'm just looking forward to that fresh sack of the northwest's finest sitting on my coffee table. Happy Friday, EA.
EDIT: If anybody does know, though, what the hell is up with my speaker?

This evening, just after dinner, I looked out my front windows to see a 4 teens aged 14-16 kicking down the door of my hut. I put on my shoes and chased them, but they got away. As I was walking back from chasing them, I talked to two boys who told me their identities and also that they planned on camping in the nearby woods tonight.
I went to the woods and heard their voices, so I followed where the sound was coming from. I found their makeshift "campsite" and stole their tentpoles then went home.
About 15 minutes later I saw them walking up the path from the woods and went out to have a word with them. They were mostly apologetic and frightened. I gave them back their tent poles and told them I'd be contacting their parents, which I did about 30 minutes later.
This incident is the first time, at aged 23 years and 291 days old, that I've felt like a proper grown up.

Today has been dominated by a brutal toothache which I can't afford to do anything about.
So I rinse it with saltwater evry 5 min or so.
Shoot me.

Get a little bottle of clove oil, it's well cheap and will keep the pain well at bay til you can afford a dentist.

So tired.
But not sleepy.
Watching An American Werewolf in London, which I enjoy more and more as the years go by.

Advil!!! LARGE doses of Advil. The active ingredient in Advil is very effective for treating tooth pain until you can get to see a dentist. highly recommended- I have done this on tour so I could finish all of my shows and get home.
Take eight of them, then four hours later take six, and repeat as necessary.
You'll be amazed. Tylenol and aspirin do not do the same job that Advil will do. Whatever's in Advil does the job on tooth pain.
Good luck, comrade.

If you don't mind a little poisoning, well, my grandmother used to swab Campho-Phenique on my tooth injuries. It helps a little, but it may have just introduced a new set of stressors to my system. Either way, its worth a try as a quick-fix.
