Those bayonette mounts are a pain in the ass. I have one that has to be clicked in place and then backed off just a bit before it makes contact. Can't figure out why come for the life of me.

I'm not sure what you mean.

-Lomo 19-18:
Modified both mics (and cables) with a new connector housing that hosts a 5-pin XLR connector. The original connectors were stressed and shitty. I'm super excited about those mics being back in service. They are my favorite.

-Fixed broken cables and a snake.

Hey Greg,

Let me know how those Furman boxes work with the new connectors. I'm totally with you on the CAT 5 stuff.

Also, I'm about to replace the cables on my 19a18s and the new connectors on yours sound cool. Is that a part that you found or did you have them machined for those mics? Would they fit in a 19a13 as well?

User note: The new Furman cables are a huge improvement over the Cat 5 cables in convenience and reliability.

Mellotron fixed.
No sound on every other key, and the first key would stick down.
Somehow, a rod that restrains the felt pads (that push the tape to the heads) was bent up. After I readjusted it, the keys worked.
Checked every key for intensity, and warble. I adjusted the heights of the felt pushing pads, and pinch roller pressures to get the best performance possible from each note. A few pinch rollers needed greasing. The stuck key just lost upward tension (provided by a thin strip of metal which mounts the key in the rear).
