Fleishman is in Trouble on hulu is pretty good so far. Depressing 'comedy', but well done.
This was great BTW. Not actually a comedy at all aside from some humorous points in early episodes.. got ahead of myself there. In fact the whole story flips, which I somewhat expected but not to the degree it did. Clever.
I liked this quite a bit. At age 50, going through some shit like that right now, it hit close to home.

Hereditary is streaming on HBOMax. I liked it, but prefer Midsommar.

Just finished Copenhagen Cowboy. If you're not a Refn enthusiast, steer clear.

"Where is my fucking fish? I would never be late. My cooks would never be late. How can the fish guy be late? It's why all chefs are drunks. It's because we don't understand why the world doesn't work like our kitchens."
Makes me cry every fucking time I see it.

One of those shows I keep reminding myself to watch but have failed to do so. Will remind myself again.

Also wonderful use of Eno's "The Big Ship."

Speaking of Natasha Lyonne, I just watched
Slums of Beverly Hills for the first time. Good, strange film. Wonderful acting by a wonderful cast: Lyonne, Alan Arkin, Michael Corrigan, David Krumholtz, Marisa Tomei, Jessica Walter, Rita Moreno, Carl Reiner. Thoughtful deadpan comedy/drama with sufficient amount of breasts.
Also learned the word "dingbat" in reference to much of Los Angeles's single family apartment architecture.

Just started it and I’m 100% certain Adrien Brody is channeling Mike Damone.
