Not SUPER interesting, but a Kirk Hammett signature Epiphone LP is coming soon -- it has an open-book headstock. It would be cool if they continued doing this going forward. Their newer headstocks are MUCH better than what they were using in the past, but just going for a straight open book would be great. Small development, for sure.

Also, I love this purple V.

A Gibson style headstock, like on an LP. It's profile kind of looks like a book that's sitting open.

Can you imagine if Epi was doing like Squier and making really nice, super affordable Firebirds and Explorers and Flying Vs in different period correct configurations?

Right? The coronet/wilshire etc. have been nice and something I thought we would never see but yeah.

I know folks have some financial/political reasons to avoid this company but gimmicky video and all, I love this idea.
