This is an interesting take on AI and totally relevant in the politics thread. The gist of it is that China really has the upperhand when it comes to the looming trade wars and it may be no coincidence that Deepseek was recently released, of which (if you haven't paid attention to it) totally fucked up the NASDAQ and sent stocks into a near trillion dollar spiral.
Shit like this is why I’m not a pacifist. They are being sentenced to torture, rape, and death by Trump. I don’t know how much longer I can take this awful fucking world
this policy is a direct result of a society that doesn't care about prison rape.

Not true. You could kill all the guards and wardens who don't care about it, and replace them with people who do care about it.

I do want to reiterate that not going to jail isn’t exactly a “solution” if one’s existence is criminalized. I also don’t want to live in a world where *anyone* is sentenced to rape or medical torture in prison no matter what the fuck they’ve done or not, let alone trans people who can be arrested just for using the restroom
you're right again. we are all well aware that unjust imprisonment is a thing.
i hope nobody else took my "solution" literally.
