I Just watched a full eclipse of the moon.

Apparently, I have to wait till I'm 42 to see a full eclipse of the sun, My friend reckons I'll be a Primary School Principle by then.

I have had two (two!) bikes stolen this summer.

Last night I dreamt that both of them were returned and locked in front of my workplace, a gift for burun ( a co-worker in my dream) by a stalker of hers. The bikes were perfectly intact, except the thief had removed the Schwinn and Rollfast logos and replaced them with font-perfect logos that said "The Jodester".

I came home to an answering machine message from my dad, informing me that his wife's mother succumbed to pancreatic cancer.

She had been sick for a while, but functioning, until about a month ago, when she took a divebomb for the worse. In days, a woman who had never sat down for more than five minutes at a time was relegated to being helped into bed and eating orzo soup and Gatorade.

We were not as close as we could have been, given my resistance to socialize with dad's "new" family, but the times I did see her, she and I got along swimmingly.

She was a kickass lady, an excellent cook, and I only hope that when I am in my 80's, as she was, that I have even half her energy.

Oooh, Rick Ocasek came into my job today!!!!! I almost came on myself. Of course I couldn't think of anything clever to do or say so I just stared at him and then followed him up the street until he walked into another antiques gallery. Schwing!

today i cut my own hair without shaving my head bald.

i shaved my face.

i cleaned my room.

i played my bass.

i decided i'm not going to do anything about the pickups in my bass. they are very fucking hot and very fucking loud. 2 pickups at 14kOhm each. it just took me a long goddamned time to figure out how to make them sound like what i wanted with what i got in the way of amps.

i'm still going to do something about the bridge, pickguard, and nut though.

i don't know why people don't like the rat pedal. maybe it's 'cause the one i use is about 20yrs old and is wired differently than others, i don't know. it's a kickass pedal, bass or guitar.

My ex-girlfriend is upstairs in my apartment packing up her belongings that have been left there for the last eight months.

In less than three weeks I will be moving away from the crackheads.

I've been working on the layout for the Police Teeth album. Shit looks dope.
