Beefeater is possibly the worst band I've ever heard in my life.

I used to be a blind-buy Dischord fan, but jesus... I could cut through the hype with a knife. I now have to reserve judgement on new dischord records until 6 months or so after they come out and people shut the fuck up about them. If not, I make mistakes like Q and not U's "Power" and El Guapo.

Shudder To Think is intolerable. Scream is intolerable. Beefeater, naturally, is intolerable.

I think there's a big thing about Dischord that you don't get with a whole lot of other labels where there are a few people that could shit on a record, and millions of people across the continent would buy it and proclaim 'I dont care, they could shit on a record and I'd buy it!' That's not any way to act at all.
