I'm not a musician but I love the guitar player. Is he technically good? The guitar blows me away in US Maple

They had 2 guitar players (and no bass) last I knew.

I wanted to interject here and say that as far as I am aware, none of the members of US Maple have ever raped any babies. That was my point, ultimately. I want to interject here and say that watching the high-end guitar player for U.S. Maple play made me weep with rage and uncontrollable feelings of helplessness. He is pretty goddamn good...

I once hosted these boys at my apartment, and they were gentlemen in extremis. Alan did covet a pink Roxy Music eight-track that I keep on display, but other than that they left me stuff, such as:

A pair of Wellington Boots
A container of L.A. Looks styling gel
Ring around the tub

I also just got a copy of Long Hair... on vinyl this week and that makes me happy. I now have all the proper albums on vinyl along w/the "Stuck" single and "Sin City" AC/DC cover. My first drunk show ever was Maple/Royal Trux at 7th St Entry. It made an impression on me for sure.

Have they ever done a Peel Session? Something tells me yes, but I can't be sure.

Whenever I play "Stuck" in the darkroom office people ask who it is.

I think that's pretty rad.

One guitar, one guitar/bass string combo instrument. For the low lows and double piercing highs.

Boy howdy, this band is great.

I was recently at this guy Jim's house and he told me US Maple used to practice at his house on North. This place was a staggering 100 feet away from the afterparty at Bear Claws practice space. Sorry this isn't an update. I just thought it was a strange coincidence.

I know both Jim's that live there! In fact, we stayed there during the whole TnG weekend (how convenient...) Are you talking about Jim Zespy? Or the other Jim?
