I heard it somewhere. Since the folks at Electrical Audio seem to be the jocks of analog recording I thought it would be funny to use it.

I am a physics teacher. B is the variable used to express the magnetic field in physics. Hence b fields = magnetic fields. Magnetic fields are pretty damn important in electrical recording.

And, as an added bonus, I happen to be a big fan of The Magnetic Fields and other Stephin Merritt projects.

Cheers,
Allen

Ahhh, physics.

My fondest memory from physics class was building a likeness of the Dr. Evil rocket (a la Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me) for a two-dimensional motion lab. We wrote "Love Shaft" on the side, and spent the entire lab making penis jokes. Fun stuff.

And has anyone heard of a Chemistry teacher from Joliet named Frank? We used to watch his educational videos in Chemistry all the time... they were the single most painfully boring thing I have ever endured.

Love programming old drum machines. It's a reference the TR606, of course.

I used to work on a rocket called the Static Fire. That was becasue we bolted it to a test stand and fired it to see what would happen. (Boeing Delta IV Program). Sticking to proper industrial conventions, 'c' becomes 'k'.

One of the many retarded band names that I've come up with that will probably never get used. Others include:
The Beatles U.S
Armin Tanzarian (I might actually use this for solo stuff)
amazed, amahzed, ah mah zed
There Be Dragons!
Killing Pirates Through Stealth

There used to be a band called The Union of a Man and a Woman from Virginia.

the frem Virginia isn't part of the name but I would like to see a band called:
The Union of a Man and a Woman From West Virginia.
Anyway, I think their record might still be in print on Jagjaguwar. I think they were one of the first bands on that label.
