capn, i've heard the best place to go around here is Steve's Tattoo in Madison. at least that was the case a few years back when i was in limbo about getting a Rip Taylor neck tattoo.

I have the compass from Engine Takes to the Water
on the inside of my right forearm:
I've at times thought that I might end up thinking it was a stupid idea, but I've had it for 3 years, and I still love it.
I don't think I could ever do a band's name though. I used this one because I wanted a compass and the one on their record was cool. I don't have anything in the middle of it yet, I guess I have thought about putting 6/44 or something like that in it. I doubt I ever will though...
