Horsewhip, you may want to try getting in touch with the Beat Kitchen for a Chicago show. I'm nearly certain that the guy that used to book the Bottom Lounge is booking that place now because the Bottom Lounge is shutting/ has shut down and will be relocating.

The Cal's Liquors thing really might not be the greatest idea. It's in a strange corner of the south loop and is a place where stock brokers and lawyers go to get drunk after work during the week. Not very conducive to walk up traffic from the rock'n'roll crowd like a club in Wicker Park or even Lakeview would be. Especially on a weekend.

I will come and see you guys play if I can when you're here though. You may want to look into the Empty Bottle also, and South Union Arts, as someone mentioned before, is quickly gaining momentum as the new rock club in Chicago. If I can lend anymore help just let me know.
Good Luck,

Conan, we don't have anything booked for the day before yet, and we would definately drive up a day sooner if we could play on a bill with Replicator.

Somebody from the Parkside called us up about playing a show, but we haven't heard back from them in a whle.
Police Teeth: we like Void so much, we decided not to sound like them.

mr. unique,

Thanks for the advice, unfortunately, we're already confirmed at Cal's Liquors, as they were the only venue who would touch us. Our booker tried every single other venue in Chicago, and no dice. Our friends' band just played there and told us that it wasn't terrible. I guess it'd depend on whom we get to play with us.

Hopefully this won't be the case next year when our next full-length comes out on a cred label and gets a 8.6 on Pitchfork.
