If I knew it was this easy, I never would have put a bid down at the Second City auctions.

Thirded. Is posting to a message board really more of a waste of time than scouring the internet for mentions of your own band?

I mean, I apparently have the spare time to do both of these things...

Hey, me too! Is there a Crap/Not Crap for Googling your own band yet? I'm gonna check...

Bob Nod wrote:Holy Shit!!!....you people have WAYYYYYY too much time on your hands to be talking about this crap for 3 pages worth....anyways....this is an article from Spokane, that took something totally out of context and ran with it....and we all know how stupid journalists can be....but, to make things clear, we all had a good time in Chicago, at Electrical Audio and recording with Steve. We PAID, He RECORDED!! END OF STORY, now shut your computers off and go outside and play!!!!! Thanks, Ron.....TheSSF

but bob, these pages are saying "what kind of a shitty journalist would discredit these nice young people this way". on the electrical forum! talking about electrical is like our favourite thing! we even have a forum! here it is!

and bob!
look at this article from your label.
In Music We Trust Records wrote:The first step in achieving this, as the band will tell you, is putting vocalist Marguerite Olivelle on the phone. "We always do that with band stuff, because she's a girl and is nice and cute," the band laughs in unison.

why didn't you send this girl to come and berate us, senor?
why did we not get the 'nice and cute' lady since this is official band business?!

is ridiculous!
regardless, i hope your record does well, sir.

There definitely is nothing wrong with the band. In fact, they are twice as awesome for sending us cookies and brownies weeks after being here.
What did we get from Neurosis?
A big fat Nothing!

This is more of a bash on the 11th-hour style of writing that goes on by food critics.
I mean music critics.

Nice words from the Neurot e-mailing list:

"Made Out of Babies are done in the studio, and have nothing but nice things to say about the folks at Electrical Audio (even that John Novotny character... or should we say especially???). Wait here for the first mp3. You'll hear it almost as soon as we do!"
